About Dr. Toler

As a Licensed Professional Counselor and Supervisor, Dr. Toler specializes in counseling individuals, couples, and families. She also supervises students who are working towards licensure as Professional Counselors.

Dr. Toler earned her Ph.D. in Counseling from The University of North Texas and M.S. and B.A. degrees from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. She has been in the mental health field since 1996 and is an active member of the Texas Counseling Association. She has volunteered at the Suicide and Crisis Center in Dallas and is an affilate of the Stepfamily Association of America, now known as the National Stepfamily Resource Center.

She has worked with individuals, couples, groups and families, including families in domestic violence situations. She has served as an adjunct member of the University of North Texas Counseling program. Now in private practice, she continues to serve on the staff of The Family Place in Dallas.
